Music Ministry

AUDIO/VIDEO MINISTRY

This ministry requires a commitment to serve during the Sunday morning
worship service. Serving in the audio/video ministry gives you an
opportunity to enhance the worship experience of the congregation. The
presentations will be previously prepared, it only requires advancing
slides, however, once comfortable with the software the operator has the freedom to express his or her heart through the art of visual media presentation. New Victoria currently uses Pro Presenter presentation software.

If sound is what you are interested in, then the audio ministry is for you.
Whether you are interested in sound or the management of visual presentations, training sessions can be scheduled to put you on a path to service in these areas. No prior experience is needed. You can do it!

CHILDREN’S CHOIR

At New Victoria we want to teach each generation to sing songs of praise to our God and Savior. We have graded children’s choirs for PreK-K, 1st and 2nd grade, and 3rd through 6th grade. Children’s choirs meet on Wednesday afternoons/evenings from 5:40 to 6:15 from September through May with an emphasis on a dramatic Christmas musical from September through December.

ADULT CHOIR

Our adult choir is open to anyone of high school age to senior adult who desires to worship in a choir setting. We meet on Sunday afternoons during the school year and on Wednesday nights during the summer to prepare SATB choir anthems. No auditions are required. Just bring your desire to worship through song and join us as we have fun and fellowship while preparing special music and our hearts for worship.

WORSHIP TEAM

New Victoria has a band that plays the most current contemporary praise and worship music. Auditions are required to participate in the band. Presently there is a need for an acoustic guitarist, however any instruments would be considered for participation. In the past the band has included baritone, saxophone, trumpet, and violin. If you play an instrument (any instrument) and desire to be used for the cause of Christ, then you should talk to our music director to set up an audition.
