Serving Opportunities
AWANA Ministry: Meets Wednesday evenings during the school year. Work with children from babies to age 12; teaching them about God’s Word in a fun environment.
Stewardship Ministry: Prepares and monitors the annual church budget.
Personnel Ministry: Directs the church in matters related to paid personnel.
Preschool Ministry Team: Is a rotation of workers who provide childcare for preschoolers during Sunday worship services.
Sunday School Ministry Team: Teachers and other leaders who are committed to teaching Gods Word in all age groups.
Children’s Choir: Help elementary aged children learn songs of praise and worship. Also help plan choir performances.
Missions Team: Coordinating and recruiting for church-led local, national and international mission trips. Fund raising, teaching and evangelizing.
Bus Drivers: Training provided free of charge to qualified volunteers.
Hospitality Ministry: Coordinates church fellowships.
Housekeeping Ministry: Coordinates with contracted cleaning company to ensure that church facilities are cleaned regularly and properly.
Audio/Visual Team: Operates NVBC’s audio and video equipment for morning worship services.
Properties Ministry: Ensures all church facilities are properly maintained.
Website Ministry: This Team provides content and graphics for the churches website.
Public Relations Ministry: Designs and distributes church related information to the local community.
Grounds Maintenance Team: Works to make the exterior of the church a welcoming and appealing environment.
Ministry Enlistment Team: Enlists and nominates people for our church programs and ministries.
Associational Reps: Represents New Victoria at associational meetings.
Offering Counters: Records the offering after Sunday morning worship services.
Men’s Ministry: Coordinates Men’s prayer group and sponsored activities.
Women’s Ministry: Coordinates women activities and ministry groups including Ladies night out, service projects and Bible studies.
Showers of Blessings Team: Coordinates Baby and Wedding showers.
Ushers: Works in rotation to help collect the offering.
